Traditional Japanese house, wood decorations, tatami floors, shoji walls, comfortable.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

Location was convenient, close to shops and restaurants. Beautiful decor, resembling a traditional Japanese house. Comfortable rooms with dimmed lights and natural look of the bathtubs.
Limited food options and not very accommodating to dietary restrictions. Staff seemed indifferent and uninterested in offering pointers on what to see or do in the surrounding area. The hotel lacked a certain atmosphere, making it feel more like a standard hotel than an authentic Japanese ryokan.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The value for money was excellent - the room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a great view of the river. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The location was perfect, right in the center of the village and next to the river, which made for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
Everything was perfect, couldn't ask for more.

The view from the room was amazing, as we could see the river and the mountains from the window. the traditional decor of the room was also charming. the staff was polite and accommodating, offering us a shuttle service to nearby restaurants. the location of the hotel was convenient as there were several shops and cafes within walking distance.
The cost of the stay seemed unreasonable, as it was significantly more expensive than other hotels in the area. the breakfast buffet was meager and the hot dishes were lukewarm.

the location was perfect, next to a calming river right in the center of the lovely village. the staff were friendly and the rooms had a cozy, rustic feel. Although the breakfast had limited options, the food was delicious. the private toilet was clean, and the lounge area provided decent WiFi. there were multiple onsen choices including private and outdoor baths with different views and settings.
The pricing of the hotel was a bit steep.
